This is one of a series of paintings where I have adhered a printed fabric to a board; applied clear gesso; then painted the image on top and in some instances adding to the printed background. This particular painting is a product of my frustration when then President Trump so cruelly separated Hispanic children from their parents corralling them in cages at the US border.
