This plein air painting was painted in Wintergreen, VA  in September, 2020. Getting outside to paint during Covid-19 was very beneficial to my health and well being. On this day the sky was blue and full of clouds that were quickly moving over the mountains creating fabulous shadow patterns. The Fall color was just beginning to show.
